Read MoreBree Evans - I have had the pleasure of working with the amazing families, students, and staff at CORE since 2016, as a high school math teacher, Education Specialist, and PLT, TK12 Assistant Director, and now as the Intermediate Director for 4th-8th grades. Prior to my time at CORE, I taught elementary and middle school grades for 12+ years in various public and private educational settings and across subject areas, as an Education Specialist, Single-Subject Math Teacher, Multiple Subjects Teacher, and Intervention Coordinator. These diverse experiences shaped my heart and passion for personalized education, which is rooted in the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to develop their love of learning in ways that are tailored to their unique interests, needs, and future goals. I am so grateful to continue to be part of this amazing school community, focused on building in students the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed for their current and future success.
Ashley Meese - Ashley comes to us from a small, TK-8 school in rural Tehama County with 18 years of experience in education. She is a graduate of Chico State (Go Wildcats!) with degrees in liberal studies and educational leadership. Her core values of balance and creativity speak to her passion for arts education and nurturing the whole child.
She resides in Orland with her family and enjoys the quiet, country life in an olive orchard. In her free time she can be found with her nose in a book, working in the garden, playing with her dogs, or playing tennis. Ashley is excited to be joining the CORE Butte team and can’t wait to work alongside all of the wonderful staff and families.
